Tidal Meandering Channel

This animation of a controlled laboratory experiment shows the morphological evolution of an tidal meandering chanel during 8000 tidal cycles. After these 8000 cycles the bed turns to a quasi equilibrium status. Note that in the left part (near the inlet) the scour-deposition formation is strictly inverse and not in phase with meander curvature. Read more in the pdf.
